New Adventures on the Horizon

As some of you know, we are going to go on a new adventure! This means we have to leave California...the place that I LOVE more than anything. 

Reiner got an amazing job offer in Berlin, Germany and so we will be following him on May 30th of this year for our new beginning in Germany. Its bittersweet, especially for the boys and myself. Having lived 20 years of my life here, kids were born here, we are all deeply rooted in Cali. Life was always amazing here: The people we met, those who became our close friends for life, the weather, the beach, the ocean... The people are friendly and warm, just like the year round fabulous weather. We have had many adventures here and my heart is heavy when I think about leaving this place behind. But another part of me, the adventurer, is somewhat exited. It will be all new, in a country that I have know all my life, yet its so new to me if that even makes sense to you! We will have to get used to being back in Germany again, the boys don't know life in Germany, apart from our annual vacations there. It will be huge adjustment for them. And it won't always be easy. But overall, I think it will widen their horizon, it will broaden their knowledge and way of living and thinking. They just don't know it yet.
